Benefits

All staff time and goods donated to Clean the World are tax deductible for your hotel. We will provide you with a quarterly statement detailing the amount of soap and shampoo donated during that period. You’ll also reduce your waste management costs and also have the peace of mind that comes from knowing that you helped save lives while being environmentally responsible.

Recognition

Clean the World loves to recognize the help it receives. Based on your level of participation in the Clean the World Hospitality Partnership Program, Clean the World has many ways to get the word out that you are committed to helping save lives.

Collection

if your are in the Central Florida region, Clean the World will empty the recycle bins weekly — or as often as needed. Special shipping arrangements are also available for all U.S. cites.

As a Hospitality Recycling Partner Clean the World will provide:

  • Clean the World Collection Bins
  • Access to online training materials
  • A customer service representative to call anytime for immediate service.
  • Mention in monthly newsletter as a new participating hotel
  • Quarterly statements detailing the amount of soap and shampoo donated during that period

The hotel agrees to provide Clean the World with:

  • Shipping cost of amenities to Clean the World’s recycling plant.*

*Clean the World pick-up is available in some areas of Central Florida

Clean the World understands the meetings market and we can help. We know that hotels are greatly influenced by the meetings industry and we appreciate the impact you have on our ability to get the word out about this life saving recycling program.

Many attendees are looking for more charitable activities to participate in while at a meeting. By adding the Clean the World program you are enhancing the social responsibility of the meeting. Attendees can feel good about helping to save lives.

The green movement has gained great momentum in the hospitality industry. Your clients need to ensure they are also doing everything possible to maintain environmentally sound practices with their meetings. Clean the World clearly adds this component to any meeting.

Have a Meeting, Save a Life

Your next meeting can become a participant in this life-saving recycling program. Here’s how it works:

Clean the World Donation Stations will be setup at the hotels where your attendees will deposit their bathroom amenities each day of their meetings. Clean the World will take care of shipping of all the amenities in the Donation Stations back to our Recycling Operations Center

Your group’s hotels become temporary participants in our Hospitality Recycling Program It’s rewarding

Your attendees get to see first hand how this program impacts the environment and helps save lives:

After the meeting, Clean the World will provide the actual totals of the donated items that were collected during the event and the number of families that will benefit due to the organization’s participation in the program

It’s easy for your attendees

Clean the World will provide a 1-page instruction card that can be e-mailed to your attendees prior to the meeting. It will describe the program’s operation.

Clean the World will provide participating hotels with an instruction card in a ready to print format and individual (recycle) bags to be distributed to your attendees upon check-in.

Clean the World will provide web site content that can be posted on the registration site promoting the organization’s participation

Additional promotional materials are available upon request.

You’ll also reduce your waste management costs and also have the peace of mind that comes from knowing that you helped save lives while being environmentally responsible.

Recognition

Clean the World loves to recognize the help it receives. Based on your level of participation in the Clean the World B&B Partnership Program, Clean the World has many ways to get the word out that you are committed to helping save lives. We will provide special marketing efforts to lets potential guests know that you are doing your part for the enviroment and the world.

The process is easy
Simply collect used amenities and ship to the Clean the World Recycling Plant in Orlando Florida.

This program allows Clean the World to fully process all the amenities you donate and make them ready for distribution. As a B&B Recycling Partner Clean the World will provide:

  • Partner Certificate. Tell the world you are working with Clean the World to help save lives while recycling needless waste by displaying your Partner Certificate.
  • Your B&B’s will be listed on the Clean the World web site
  • Access to our online training materials
  • Mention in monthly newsletter as a new participating B&B
  • Quarterly statements detailing the amount of soap and shampoo donated during that period.
  • The B&B agrees to provide Clean the World with:
  • $50 annual donation ($4.17 per month)
  • Shipping cost of amenities to Clean the World’s recycling plant.We recommend using the Flat Rate Boxes from the US Postal Service. These boxes ship anywhere in the country for a low flat rate (even lower when you ship online).
    • Small: 5 3/8 x 8 5/8 x 1 5/8 – Rate: $4.95
    • Medium: 2 sizes: 11 7/8 x 3 3/8 x 13 5/8
    • OR 11 x 8.5 x 5.5 – Rate: $10.70
    • Large: 12 x 12 x 5.5 – Rate: $14.50

Clean the World
Fast Facts:

  • We are operational in 18 states across the United States
  • Our Orlando Recycling Center process over 10,000 bars a day. Other centers opening soon.
  • All collection pickups are done by uniformed, credentialed professional Clean the World employees, and all staff are required to adhere to professional, dress and conduct codes and policies.
  • Collection process has been implemented Six Sigma by several 4- and 5-star properties.
  • Our recycling process has been certified by TriTech Laboratories, an independent, Florida state certified environmental lab. We use a patented process certified to be 100% effective in killing all pathogens.
  • We have a collection process includes both soap and all bottled amenities. Our process is a complete hotel bathroom amenity program.
  • Through Business Insurance Services, Inc. we carry a $3 million dollar liability and recyclers insurance policy, workman’s compensation insurance and $1 million automobile insurance for drivers

Soap Distribution

  • In 2009, CTW collected and distributed over 230 tons of soap, shampoo and other hotel amenities to over 50 countries worldwide including Zimbabwe, El Salvador, Nicaragua, Swaziland, Mali, Mongolia, Uganda, Honduras, and Romania
  • Clean the World partners with major NGO’s World Vision, World Food Program, Heart to Heart, and Harvest Time International
  • Clean the World is a natural disaster First Responder. In January 2010, as part of our Haiti Earthquake Relief efforts, we collected and distributed over 150 tons of hygiene products, medical supplies, water, and other essentials to Haiti.
